When you donate school supplies and uniforms for children in Uganda, you give a child the tools to learn, grow, and rise out of poverty. Many families in Uganda cannot afford books, uniforms, or school bags. Without these basics, children are turned away at the school gate. Your gift through MWA (Muslim Welfare Association) removes that barrier. It puts a uniform on a child and a pencil in their hand.
Education is one of the surest paths out of poverty. Yet for thousands of vulnerable children in Uganda, that path is blocked by cost. One uniform or set of learning materials can decide whether a child stays in school or drops out. With a single donation, you help a child attend class with confidence and dignity. This is your chance to sponsor a child’s education and change a life today.

In Uganda, most schools require a uniform before a child can enroll. Families living in poverty often cannot meet this cost. When parents must choose between feeding their family and paying for school, education is the first thing they lose.
The cost adds up fast. Uniforms, shoes, textbooks, notebooks, and pens all carry a price. For a household with several children, the total is out of reach. This is why so many children in rural Uganda leave school early and never return.
Your donation breaks this cycle of poverty. By covering school supplies and uniforms, you keep vulnerable children in the classroom where they belong. You give them a real chance to finish their education and build a brighter future.
Every gift goes toward real, essential items for children in need. Your support helps supply:
Here is how your donation can help children in Uganda:
| Your Donation | The Impact You Make |
|---|---|
| $50 | School supplies for one child. |
| $100 | A full uniform and learning kit. |
| $250 | Supplies and uniforms for a small group. |
| $500 | Support for an entire classroom. |
Custom amounts are welcome too. Every dollar reaches a child who needs it most.
In Islam, helping a child learn is one of the most rewarded acts a believer can perform. Allah says in the Quran, “Are those who know equal to those who do not know?” (Surah Az-Zumar 39:9). Knowledge raises a person in this life and the next.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that when a person dies, their deeds end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them (Sahih Muslim). When you fund a child’s education, you plant beneficial knowledge. That reward keeps flowing to you long after your gift is given.
This makes your donation a true Sadaqah Jariyah, an ongoing charity that continues to reward you for years to come.
Many of the children we serve are orphans or come from struggling homes. Caring for them carries a special reward. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “I and the one who cares for an orphan will be in Paradise like this,” and he held two fingers together (Sahih al-Bukhari).
Your Sadaqah reaches these children directly. Allah promises to multiply what you give. The Quran compares charity to a single seed that grows into seven ears, each bearing a hundred grains (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:261). A small gift can grow into a lifetime of good.
